Last month I announced Dr. Herman Selderhuis’ 2009 Kistemaker lectures (24-25 Feb. 2009). I was able to attend the first day’s lecture, and I happened to try out my new mini video recorder while in attendance. Thus, you may watch the first lecture from my vantage point a few rows back.
The first lecture is great, and it deals with many common myths surrounding Calvin. Sadly, only the first few minutes of the second lecture made it onto the recorder, and I didn’t attend the second day for lectures three and four. However, someone mentioned to me that RTS is putting up the audio recordings on its site.
Selderhuis’ book on Calvin reads like his lectures–fresh, engaging, humorous, and insightful. I recommend the book.
